Recently renovated to the same high standard as our other holiday cottages, Groom Holiday Cottage is a detached property featuring stone walls, beamed ceilings and has electric fires for heating and is ideal for a honeymoon couple or romantic breaks in Cornwall. This cosy little detached holiday cottage accommodates two people with one double bedroom with 4ft iron / brass bedstead, en suite shower room and toilet.

The kitchen / diner has a slate flag floor, pine cupboards, ample working surfaces, gas for cooking as well as a fridge, dishwasher and microwave, matching quality china, all necessary kitchen utensils and all the usual modern facilities including a vacuum cleaner, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, electric blanket. Fresh bed linen, tea towels and fluffy bath towels are supplied, together with freshly laundered crisp white sheets and now there are also separate laundry room facilities including automatic washing machine and tumble dryer. Indeed almost everything required to ensure your stay is as trouble free as possible.

Leading from the kitchen is a cosy lounge area featuring a stone fireplace, colour TV and video. The patio area and furniture also means you can sit in the sun and chat into the evening. There is ample parking. A welcome tea tray awaits you with traditional saffron cake

Our location in Cornwall is ideally situated for touring the wonderful County of Cornwall and exploring the many attractions that Cornwall has to offer. Country Cottage Retreats offers easy access to other beautiful areas of Conwall including Gweek, Porthleven, St Ives, Penzance, Mullion, Falmouth and Helston. There are a numerous wonderful beaches to visit during your stay including Swanpool Beach in Falmouth and Praa Sands.
